Fiber Hamiltonians in the non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics

چکیده
A translation invariant Hamiltonian H in the nonrelativistic quantum electrodynamics is studied. This Hamiltonian is decomposed with respect to the total momentum PT: H = ∫ ⊕ Rd H(P )dP, where the self-adjoint fiber Hamiltonian H(P ) is defined for arbitrary values of coupling constants. It is discussed a relationship between rotation invariance of H(P ) and polarization vectors, and functional integral representations of n point Euclidean Green functions of H(P ) is given. From these, some applications concerning with degeneracy of ground states, ground state energy and expectation values of suitable observables with respect to ground states are given.

Exponential Decay and Ionization Thresholds in Non-Relativistic Quantum Electrodynamics
Spatial localization of the electrons of an atom or molecule is studied in models of nonrelativistic matter coupled to quantized radiation. We give two definitions of the ionization threshold. One in terms of spectral data of cluster Hamiltonians, and one in terms of minimal energies of non-localized states. We show that these two definitions agree, and that the electrons described by a state w...
متن کاملFunctional Integral Representation of the Pauli-Fierz Model with Spin 1/2
A Feynman-Kac-type formula for a Lévy and an infinite dimensional Gaussian random process associated with a quantized radiation field is derived. In particular, a functional integral representation of e−tHPF generated by the Pauli-Fierz Hamiltonian with spin 1/2 in non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics is constructed. When no external potential is applied HPF turns translation invariant and ...

We express the unitary time evolution in non-relativistic regularized quantum electrodynamics at zero and positive temperature by a Feynman integral defined in terms of a complex Brownian motion. An average over the quantum electromagnetic field determines the form of the quantum mechanics in an environment of a quantum black body radiation. In this non-perturbative formulation of quantum elect...
متن کاملSpectral Renormalization Group and Local Decay in the Standard Model of the Non-relativistic Quantum Electrodynamics
We prove the limiting absorption principle for the standard model of the non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics (QED) and for the Nelson model describing interactions of electrons with phonons. To this end we use the spectral renormalization group technique on the continuous spectrum in conjunction with the Mourre theory.
